“Wherever I’m going, I’m going with you”
This session is honestly one of my absolutely favorites, everything worked out perfectly and it felt like fate that we would meet up in Joshua Tree. Alyssa & Patrick are from Ohio, the same state we’re from! They’re getting married in Ohio, but live in LA where Patrick has started a thriving escape room business(click here to check that out!). When Alyssa inquired to us, it just so happened that we would be in California a few weeks later anyway! The timing was too perfect, I suggested Joshua Tree National Park and we came up with a plan to meet there.
The day before their session, it SNOWED in Joshua Tree. That’s right, snowed! Snowfall in the dry hot California desert is an extremely rare occurrence. Their session was literally perfect, we still had a little snow on the ground, but perfect temperature, the sun was out, and there was a beautiful sunset. We ended the night with burgers in town at the Saloon (if you’ve been to Joshua Tree you know the one). Once we said our goodbyes and got in our cars, Alyssa and Patrick’s car wouldn’t start up! We spent an hour trying to jump their car, and finally realized we had the cables placed wrong the entire time. They kept apologizing but I loved every second of it, real authentic moments like that with our clients is what I live for. I’m so happy we made those memories with them.
By the time I release this blog on January 4th, these two will officially have been married for a few hours! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs Fye! We’re so thankful you two chose us to capture your day,
