“Matt and I live on the east coast, but are getting married in Joshua Tree National Park! We decided a traditional wedding isn't for us and opted for an intimate wedding outside with just our immediate family and closest friends. A little about us, we have a dog named Merlot that we spoil, we are currently binge watching Community, we are absolute music snobs, we get too competitive with each other when we play Catan, and we would choose a taco and margs dinner over anything.”

We met Hope & Matt in New York for their engagement session last fall, a very different environment from the desert they would be getting married at in the spring. In Joshua Tree, we spent the whole weekend with them and their families! We swapped stories over a bonfire, drank white claws, and enjoyed making new memories with those most important to the bride and groom.

Intimate days like this are my favorite! Many of the guests (including the groom!), had never seen Joshua Tree. Hope had visited with her dog Merlot years prior when she was on a road trip across the country, and she knew someday she would get married here.

Enjoy Hope & Matt's meaningful intimate wedding in Joshua Tree, just wait until the end and you'll see the awesomely unique private ghost town they had their reception at!
