Obradovich Wedding | Stone Tower Winery, Virginia Wedding
Mark reached out to me in October of 2018 to inquire about Jeremiah and I being him and Marissa’s wedding photographers. He sent me their incredible proposal video (click here!), and I instantly knew we would get along so well. We quickly figured out it was fate when Mark told us he and Marissa were heading to NYC for the weekend, and it just so happened we were also heading the NYC that same weekend! We met up in times square for a quick engagement session in the rain, and pizza at a local restaurant.
Our first time meeting Mark and Marissa, we unfortunately only had a couple hours with them, Jeremiah and I both wanted to spend more quality time getting to know them before their wedding. We had no idea how much our friendship would grow with these two! Over the following year we were their first guests at their new incredible apartment in Washington D.C., as well as photographed a wedding that Mark video’d (he’s an incredible videographer, see his work here!).
They hired us to photograph their wedding, along with the events leading up to it. We got to spend four days with them, their family, and close friends. We drank wine, hungout in the hot tub of their incredible Airbnb, painted scenic canvases, and much more. Everything leading up to the best day ever, their wedding day.
I’ll let the images and story speak for itself. But truly, I have never felt so loved and respected by clients as I did with Mark and Marissa. At the end of their wedding, they asked only us to come with them to iHop for some late night pancakes to wind down from the incredible day. What an honor! I genuinely adore these two and already miss them. Currently they’re enjoying they’re belated honeymoon in Bali (what a freaking dream!). Love you two, I know you’re having an incredible time, can’t wait to see you two again.
